Volunteering

Volunteers Welcome!

FAQ's

That is the process to become a volunteer?

Call our office at (306)757-6675 and ask to come in and speak to someone about becoming a volunteer. An interview will be booked and an up to date criminal record check is required.

What kind of opportunities are available?

We have all sorts of opportunities for people to contribute to our agency. Typically, administrative volunteers are what is most needed, such as filing, filling grocery orders for our Senoir Grocery Program and other basic admin.

What are the types of questions I will be asked in my interview?

The interview for a volunteer is very similiar to an interview for a job. You will be asked why you would like to volunteer, what areas you feel you would like to contribute, the hours and days you are availble and what your time commitment would be.

What are your expectations for a volunteer?

Our expectations are that you come to your shift when you are scheduled, sign and abide by our Business Code of Conduct and treat our diverse clients with the upmost respect and kindness.

Is there anything else?

Subsequent to an interview and orientation, the agency welcomes community members who wish to make a meaningful contribution to community life by participating in the programs, services and fundraising efforts of Family Service Regina.  If you are interested in volunteering, please call 306.757.6675.
