Crisis Intervention
Babies need love, mom’s do too.
YOUNG PARENT PROGRAM
Family Service Regina aims to empower pregnant and parenting youth that are often balancing completing their high-school education and adjusting to being a parent. We believe that ensuring adolescent parents receive adequate social, emotional, medical, and academic support is essential to both parent and baby’s future.
About the Shirley Schnieder Support Centre
We work in partnership with Shirley Schneider Support Centre (located at Balfour Collegiate), an in-school program for pregnant and parenting teens. Our Young Parent Workers are present daily to walk beside young families, responding to the needs of the moment.
Registration
Students must complete an application for admission to the program. To obtain the registration forms or additional information, call the school at (306) 523-3215.
