Maintaining Effective Skills to Cope with Anger

This 6-week group offers participants a refresher from our course: Building Effective Skills to Cope with Anger.

Participants will work on correcting behaviors related to anger. Through that process, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the impacts that those behaviors have had on themselves and on others. All participants will be given opportunities to discuss situations in their lives and review the circumstances that caused them to act the way they did. Goals for participants are to gain a deeper level of self-awareness and to make long lasting habitual changes to their behaviors when dealing with anger.

Participants for this group must have already taken the Building Effective Skills to Cope with Anger course, or have done one-on-one personal counselling prior to taking part in this group.

Payment for class must be received before you are considered registered. *Some EAP plans will cover the registration. Subsidized spots may be available, so please inquire if there is a financial need.
